3 Requirements
3.1 Classification of products
Electrolytic nickel is, according to its chemical composition, divided into five
designations: Ni9999, Ni9996, Ni9990, Ni9950, and Ni9920.
3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of electrolytic nickel shall comply with the
requirements of Table 1.
the supplier and the purchaser.
3.4.2 After consultation between the supplier and the purchaser, and as
indicated in the contract, electrolytic nickel may also be cut into strips and
blocks for supply.
4 Test methods
4.1 Analysis of chemical composition is carried out according to the method as
specified in GB/T 8647.
4.2 Surface quality is visually inspected.
