This Standard was proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Centre on
Surface Active Agents and Detergents.

Requirements for Detergent Marking and Packaging
1 Application Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements for the marking and packaging of all kinds of
detergents including laundry powders, laundry detergents, laundry soaps, toilet soaps,
dish washing detergents, bath lotions and hand lotions.
This Standard applies to the marking and packaging of all kinds of detergents including

2 Normative References
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through
reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent amendments
(excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Standard, however, parties
who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest
versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition
of the referenced document applies.

3 Terms
For the purposes of this document, the following terms apply.
3.1
mark
A joint name of all kinds of expressions which is used to identify products and their
mass, quantity, characteristics and use method. It can be expressed with words,
symbols, numbers, patterns and other exponents.
3.2
4.3.5.1 When it is required by laws or regulations or products’ explicit standards or
the manufacturer needs to mark, marking is provided in accordance with one of the
following two methods.
a) manufacturing date and guaranteed term;
b) batch number and use deadline.
4.3.5.2 Marking method
a) manufacturing date. marked in the sequence of year, month, or year, month, day;
b) guaranteed term. guaranteed term × year, guaranteed term × month;
c) batch number. determined by manufacturer;
d) use deadline. sentences such as use before ×× month, ×× ×× year or ×× month
×× day, ×××× year, or digital sequences which can reflect dates.
4.3.6 Product standard number
The number of national standard, industrial standard or enterprise standard shall be
marked.
The product standard number consists of code, sequence number and year code, e.g.
QB/T ××××-2000.
If the year code of the standard number is not marked, then the latest edition shall
apply.
4.3.7 Product type and quality grade
When the product type and quality grade are specified in the product standard, the
product type and quality grade shall be marked as specified in the product standard.
4.3.8 Mark and number of production license
The products which are subjected to production license, shall be marked with valid
production license mark and number.
4.4 Marking content
4.4.1 Place of manufacturer, which shall be true.
4.4.2 Bar code, which shall be as specified in GB 12904.
4.4.3 Name of main ingredient.
4.4.4 Matters needing attention and user guide.
4.4.5 Conditions of storage and transportation which satisfy the requirements of
